Members Aide

We are seeking volunteers to help aide our Program Coordinator and Program Specialist with our Members Program. The program is open to middle and high school aged youth who have successfully completed our Maker Foundations program. Upon gaining membership, youth have access to advanced courses in our 5 core areas: Fabrication, Electronics, Development, Design & Communications.

Hours: 

- 3:00pm-6pm 

 

Ideal Skills Needed:

- Basic Knowledge of Raspberry Pi 

- Basic Knowledge of Design & Developing    

- CAD Experience either basic to advanced skills would be helpful

 

Sample Tasks Include: 

- Aid youth in learning new tools, identifying resources & researching solutions to create projects of interest

- Organize and prepare materials, content equipment, and space to foster a positive learning and work environment

- Overseeing afterschool snack for youth (Food Training will be provided)
