Mini Makers Aide

​

We are seeking volunteers to help aide our Program Coordinator and Program Specialist with our  young Mini Makers program. The program provides elementary-aged youth a place to explore, build, make mistakes, solve problems, and grow as a Maker. Mini Makers is an afterschool program focused on introducing young Makers to the exciting intersection of art, technology, and making.

 

Dates:

- Please look at Volunteer Dates/ Tech Center Events 

 

Hours: 

- 3:00pm-6pm 

 

Ideal Skills Needed:

- Basic Knowledge in 3D Design 

- Basic Knowledge of Computers 

 

Sample Tasks Include: 

 - Aid youth in learning new tools, identifying resources & researching solutions to create projects of interest

- Organize and prepare materials, content equipment, and space to foster a positive learning and work environment

- Overseeing afterschool snack for youth (Food Training will be provided) 

- Help assist youth in using the computers and basic design
